About the Company
Pila Pasák a.s. is a traditional Czech wood processing company based in Planá nad Lužnicí, where it has been operating since 1998. The company continues the legacy of Pasák spol. s r.o., founded in 1993, and builds on a woodworking tradition that dates back more than a century.
Specializing in the processing of coniferous logs and timber, Pila Pasák produces high-quality lumber, wooden pallets, wood pellets, firewood, charcoal, briquettes, and other wood products for customers across the Czech Republic and international markets. Most of the timber is further processed in-house using modern equipment, drying kilns, and manufacturing facilities to ensure consistent quality and reliability.
The history of the sawmill in Planá nad Lužnicí dates back to around 1880, when it operated as a steam sawmill and impregnation plant. Over the years, the facility passed through several owners and played an important role in the region’s timber industry. Following its return to private ownership in the 1990s, the sawmill was acquired by Mr. Luboš Pasák, who continued its development into the modern wood processing company it is today.
With a strong commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, Pila Pasák a.s. remains a trusted supplier of wood products and renewable energy solutions for customers throughout Europe and beyond.
