Pila Pasák biomass fuels
Wood Pellets Wholesale & Commercial Supply
Wood pellets from Pila Pasák combine our timber-processing experience with commercial biomass supply. We produce our own ENplus A1 pellets at our Planá nad Lužnicí operation and also supply selected pellet grades and formats for residential, commercial and industrial buyers.
Wood Pellets from Pila Pasák
At Pila Pasák a.s., wood-pellet production is integrated with our timber-processing operation in Planá nad Lužnicí, Czech Republic. Suitable sawdust and shavings created during planing and wood processing are dried, prepared and compressed into dense fuel pellets for residential, commercial and wholesale heating applications.
Our pellet range includes our own certified wood pellets together with selected premium, industrial and commercial pellet formats. Buyers can request current specifications, packaging and delivered pricing according to the required grade, quantity and destination.
How Wood Pellets Are Made
Wood pellets are produced by preparing suitable clean wood fibre, controlling its moisture and compressing it under pressure into uniform cylindrical pellets. The quality of the finished fuel depends on both the raw material and the production process.
Commercial buyers should compare measurable properties such as:
- Moisture content
- Ash content
- Pellet diameter
- Fines
- Mechanical durability
- Bulk density
- Calorific value
Wood species alone does not determine pellet quality. The current product specification and, where applicable, certification documentation should be used when comparing offers.
Softwood and Hardwood Pellets
Softwood pellets, including spruce and pine pellets, are commonly selected for clean combustion characteristics and relatively low ash levels. Hardwood pellets, such as oak and beech, use denser feedstocks and may show different combustion behaviour depending on their exact composition and production method.
Mixed pellets may combine softwood and hardwood material to create a fuel with a particular balance of heat output, density and combustion characteristics. Buyers should always confirm that the offered grade is suitable for their heating equipment.
Our ENplus A1 Pellet Production
Pila Pasák operates a modern pellet mill at our production site. We use suitable spruce sawdust and shavings from our wood-processing operations as raw material for our certified pellet production.
Our ENplus A1 pellet production is associated with Company ID CZ 023. For the certified product, current Pila Pasák documentation should govern the published technical values, certificate status and packing information.
Wood Pellet Packaging
15 kg Bags
Suitable for retail distribution, residential heating and smaller commercial users. Our certified ENplus A1 pellet product is available in a 15 kg bag format, with the current pallet configuration confirmed for the quotation.
Big Bags
Big-bag formats can be suitable for commercial users that require larger quantities and have appropriate forklift or lifting equipment. Exact bag weight and loading arrangement are confirmed for the quoted product.
Bulk Supply
Bulk supply can be considered for larger heating plants, distributors and commercial users where suitable bulk receiving and storage facilities are available.
Full Pallets & Truckloads
Commercial orders can be quoted according to pallet quantity, truck capacity, product grade, destination and unloading requirements.

Alternative Biomass Pellets
Our wider biomass catalogue also includes sunflower husk pellets, hay pellets and straw pellets. These are non-woody biomass fuels with combustion characteristics that differ from conventional wood pellets. They should only be used in heating systems designed or adjusted for agricultural or non-woody biomass.
For non-woody pellets, buyers should compare current moisture, ash, calorific value, bulk density and other relevant fuel properties before ordering.
Commercial Orders & Delivery
For a commercial quotation, please provide the required pellet grade, diameter, packaging, quantity, delivery destination and unloading facilities. Pricing is prepared according to the current product, order volume, packaging and transport requirement rather than using one universal delivered price.
