Define the product before the price
Firewood, briquettes and charcoal can differ substantially in raw material, dimensions, moisture, density, packaging and intended use. Give a clear product description rather than asking only for a price per tonne or pallet.
State how the goods must be packed
Crates, bags, cartons, palletised packs and bulk formats all create different handling and freight requirements. Confirm the commercial packing format during the quotation stage.
Include destination and volume
Transport often becomes more efficient at higher load utilisation. Provide realistic order volume, delivery postcode or port and unloading conditions so the quotation can reflect the actual shipment.
