Send dimensions and technical requirements
For wooden pallets, include overall dimensions, deck-board arrangement, entry type, expected static/dynamic load, new or reconditioned preference and any treatment requirement. For timber, state species, dimensions, moisture, surface finish and grade where applicable.
Choose the correct pallet or packaging product
For new custom designs see Bespoke New Life Pallets. For inspected and repaired used supply see Reconditioned Pallets. For machinery and freight protection see Boxes & Crates.
Use drawings for bespoke work
A dimensioned drawing can prevent misunderstandings on custom pallets, crates and processed timber. Include cargo dimensions, total weight, handling points and special reinforcement requirements where relevant.
State treatment and export requirements
If ISPM 15 heat treatment or other export-related requirements apply to the quoted product, state the destination and document requirement in the RFQ. Do not assume treatment or certification from a generic pallet description.
Explain the delivery environment
Include the required quantity, delivery location, unloading method and schedule. These details help determine whether the request should be packed as pallets, bundles, truckloads or another suitable format.
Timber and sawmill requirements
For current sawmill products see Timber & Sawmill Products. Buyers should state species, dimensions, moisture, finish, quantity and any drawing or grade requirements.
